THINGS TO EXPERIENCE
Hong Kong Disneyland
As the newest Disneyland in the world, Hong Kong Disneyland is a must-see because of its special attractions and the inimitable sense of Chinese culture. Walking into Hong Kong Disneyland, you feel you are in a wonderland. Accompanied by Mickey Mouse and other Disney friends, you start a fantastic and magical journey. With unique scenic spots and Disney Theme Hotels, you can go escape from the real world, and make your dreams come true. The availability of delicious Chinese and Asian food is also a lure for many visitors and Disney fans.

Ngong Ping 360
Perched 500m up in the western hills of Lantau is the Ngong Ping Plateau, a major drawcard for Hong Kong day-trippers and foreign visitors alike, especially since 1993, when one of the world's largest statues of Buddha was unveiled here. Po Lin (Precious Lotus; 09:00-18:00) is a huge Buddhist monastery and temple complex that was originally built in 1924. Today it is a fairground as much as a religious retreat, attracting many visitors.

Ocean Park and Waterworld
Located in the southwest of Hong Kong island, not far from the harbour is a massive theme park and entertainment center. Enjoy the amusement rides, dolphin and killer whale shows, seals and sea lions, a shark aquarium and aviaries featuring the 'Amazing Birds' theatre. Particularly interesting is the Middle Kingdom walk-through exhibition, which features recreated street scenes and palaces from long ago. It’s a fun way to learn about China’s past. Waterworld has slides, a wave pool, manmade rapids and other child-friendly activities.

A Symphony of Lights
This is a famous laser lights and music show presented by the Hong Kong Tourism Commission through organizing 44 skyscrapers and landmarks that lie on the sides of the Victoria Harbor. Through interactive lighting and music show, it shows the vibrancy and glamorous night view of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Tourism Commission initiated the project in 2004, and it was formally included in the "Guinness Book of World Records'' as the world largest lighting and music show on Nov. 21, 2005.
The show begins at 20:00 everyday. The best places to appreciate the show are from Star Avenue to the coach beside the Hong Kong Cultural Center, the waterfront promenade on Wan Chai Golden Bauhinia Square or tourist ferry in the Victoria Harbor
